Situated in the Kitzbüler Alps is the beautiful Wildschönau Valley of which Auffach, Oberau and Niederau are all part. The Wildschönau has long been a favourite with British skiers, due no doubt to the fact that the Ski Schools are almost entirely English speaking.

The lift systems of Auffach, Oberau and Niederau are not far from one another and between them give a marvellous variety of runs. The lower slopes are very gentle and ideal for beginners and the upper slopes give some most enjoyable runs for those who have a little more experience - the runs down through the trees at Auffach and the moguled slopes at the top of the Markbachjoch a Niederau being particularly pleasant.

For 30 years now our parties have been going to Auffach and have come back delighted with the atmosphere of this friendly village and full of praise for the excellence of the skiing.
