Nakiska features some of the best cruising and carving trails in the Rockies. Runs are wide open Olympic length and groomed to perfection. The beginners can enjoy lessons for the day whilst those more experienced can explore Nakiska’s challenging upper mountain. Located only an hour from Calgary, Nakiska is considered a favourite by local families.

This is a ski area thoughtfully formulated to match the need of today’s skier market. In fact, 70 percent of Nakiska’s terrain is rated intermediate with 16 percent classified as novice and the remaining 14 percent as expert. The overall design of the mountain is simple and very user friendly.

Nakiska was equipped with one of the most expensive and sophisticated snowmaking systems in the world. The end result is that skiers can depend on quality snow coverage from mountain top to valley bottom, from November through mid-April.
