Sauze d’Oulx has a
long-standing and justified reputation as one of the capitals of the
snow. Sauze is one of the main resorts of the 92-lift Milky Way
circuit that straddles the border with France and provides a mighty
400km of groomed runs. Much of the best skiing in the region is
found here. Sauze d’Oulx is a very individual resort. Lots of skiers and boarders return year after year for it’s combination of excellent cruising, high mileage skiing and boarding, the fantastic off-piste, it’s eclectic mix of English theme pubs and stylish Italian cafes, and boisterous and entertaining night-life. Yet it also retains a very Italian side to its existence. Sportinia is in effect a higher satellite with hotels, restaurants, and good nursery slopes. Skiing in Sauze d’Oulx is vast and provides something for all levels. |
