Situated between the beautiful lakes of Brienz and Thun is the Resort of Interlaken which, although it has its own ski area at Beatenberg, is the stepping off point for the whole of the fantastic Jungfrau region.

Beginners will get a particular pleasure from the fact that because the train is a ski lift they can, after only a few days, be enjoying some of the slopes near to Kleine Scheidegg, and be able to take in, like their experienced friends, this breath-taking scenery. Intermediate and experienced skiers will be absolutely in their element. It should not be forgotten that when one reaches Lauterbrunnen one can also take the funicular up the other side of the valley to the famous resort of Mürren, which is another superb ski area.

Both Mürren and Wengen have particular character and with their traffic-free streets have a charm that has brought British skiers to these resorts year after year.
