Coach travel

Coach travel

All our coaches are big recliners with videos, toilet/washroom, drinks and forced air ventilation. Naturally all coaches are equipped with seat belts.

More and more people are coming to the conclusion that as well as obtaining a much lower cost, it is, in the light of modern circumstances, simply the best way to do it. For our 8-day tours by coach we stipulate NO MINIMUM NUMBERS.

Advantages of Coach Travel

Firstly, having the coach with you in the resort is in our view your guarantee of good skiing. It means that your party need not merely ski on snow but can be taken by the coach to the area in the resort where the best snow conditions exist. It means that beginners will have the best chance of avoiding ice. And this means that everyone should learn to ski much more quickly and easily.

In the top resorts there is always a choice of ski area available to you, and this will give a much greater interest and variety to your holiday.

It opens up possibilities in resorts like The Three Valleys, of being able to start in one village and make those marvellous long runs down into another village or another valley, knowing that your transport can be waiting to collect you at the bottom.

Snow train

Some people are unaware of the very easy nature of the journey. In terms of time, we can leave this country very early in the morning and be in the resort comfortably the same evening.
Our resorts are chosen with this in mind.
The convenience is enormous. One can put one's cases on the coach at school and take them off at the hotel. It is a much more interesting journey, and by the time one has taken into account the inherent delays in flying in the winter months, the diversions, the requirements to get to and from the airports, the allowance for check-in time etc, there is in fact, not a lot of difference in the transport time.

We really believe that if one takes also into account the question of the cost of the holiday then there should be no dispute. In fact, one can have an eleven day skiing holiday by coach for almost the same cost that one can have a eight day skiing holiday by air.

Weekend Departure Dates

Most of our departures are Weekend Departures and as such should help to alleviate problems of days off school.

  Advantages of scheduled flights.....

Our flights are scheduled flights and are booked through our agents Trailfinders Ltd whose ATOL number is 1458. It is our opinion that scheduled flights have a major advantage over charters as they seem much less subject to delay and generally appear to get priority.
